Graduate students are essential in animal, plant and grain sciences; food safety and nutrition; and horticulture and wildlife management research conducted within the college and K-State Research and Extension.
Through this research, students receive real-world experience and funding through the College of Agriculture's 18 graduate programs. Most graduate programs offer both master's and doctoral degrees; agribusiness and agricultural education and communication are master's only-programs.
Whatever the research topic or wherever their explorations take them, the work of our College of Agriculture graduate students is designed to improve the lives and livelihoods of people living in Kansas, our nation and world.
After reviewing the program(s) of interest and if you have any questions, contact the appropriate College of Agriculture department’s graduate degree program chair/director of graduate programs. If you are ready to apply to our graduate school, go to the K-State Graduate School website to review the admission procedures and entrance requirements.
