Undergraduate Research
Creative Inquiry is a type of undergraduate research that offers students the chance to engage in team-based, interdisciplinary research projects. Working hand-in-hand with faculty and staff mentors, these experiences give students the opportunity to strengthen their creative thinking and problem-solving skills; learn to present their ideas and accomplishments; grow their network of faculty, professionals or potential employers; and gain experience working with diverse teams.
Students participating in Creative Inquiry present their work at K-State's annual poster symposium; and have the chance to be published in Crossing Borders: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship. Their research efforts could be cited in professional publications and presented at professional society conferences. Learn more about these opportunities.
